It was an open secret. One month before the formalization of the Find X5 Pro
, leaks suggest a collaboration with a big name in photography. It is now official.

After OnePlus, OPPO has just formalized a 3-year partnership with Hasselblad.

A partnership between OPPO and Hasselblad

Hasselblad signs a new strategic partnership. In parallel with its conference, OPPO is formalizing a collaboration with the Swedish company, which has already been putting its photo expertise at the service of OnePlus since last year. Following the merger between the two companies, OPPO now benefits from a similar partnership that will run for three years. The goal is simple: to improve and increase the photo capabilities and experience of OPPO smartphones.

For starters, this partnership will focus on “ software enhancements for natural color calibration “, which will be integrated from the next generation of Find X smartphones, namely the Find X5 Pro, which will also ship the house chip MariSilicon X, dedicated to image processing. These new features should also allow the photos of the phones concerned to reproduce ” more natural skin tones for portraits “, indicates the Chinese brand in its official press release.
