(Boursier.com) — Haulotte generated current operating income in the first half of 2022 (excluding foreign exchange gains and losses) of -0.8 ME compared to +11.4 ME in the 1st half of 2021. This result is strongly impacted by inflation in the price of components, energy and transport, which weighed nearly -22 ME over the period. The Group’s net profit came to +2.2 ME, or +0.8% of turnover, positively impacted in its financial result by foreign exchange gains (+6.8 ME) linked, mainly, to the strong rise of the USD against the Euro.

Despite persistent difficulties in supplying certain key components that most manufacturers have to deal with, Haulotte had recorded sales of 289.1 ME over the half-year, up +15% compared to the year. former.

Haulotte confirms its sales growth forecasts of more than +20% in 2022 despite the persistent supply difficulties for certain components. However, the Group is still unable to confirm, at this stage, its current operating margin objectives for 2022, given the lack of visibility and the many uncertainties that remain.
