Haute-Garonne: a gigantic fire ravages old factories


A gigantic fire broke out this Tuesday, January 2, around 4 p.m., in the town of Villemur-sur-Tarn (Haute-Garonne), several local media reported. The flames rose from a disused 1500 square meter warehouse, which belonged to the former Brusson factories, where rusks and pasta called “Angel Hair” were made.

The fire mobilized Monday evening more than 51 firefighters, and 14 of their gear. The origin of the fire remains unknown. According to him, the fire is intentional:There is no electricity in these buildings. Several people saw young people going in and out of the factory.»

Images of the fire were posted on social media. Heavy smoke was spreading Monday afternoon over the city.
