Haute-Loire Saint-André-de-Chalencon: the missing fifty-year-old has been found

The important system put in place since yesterday around Saint-André-de-Chalencon has made it possible to find the missing 56-year-old, alive, this Monday around 11 a.m.

The alert was given on Sunday June 12 around 2:30 p.m. The family had no news of the 50-year-old since she left the place called Poupenac without her phone, around 10:30 a.m.

The gendarmes and firefighters then deployed significant resources on Sunday (helicopter, drone with thermal camera, dog teams, etc.), without success.

The reasons for the disappearance unknown

It was finally the searches on Monday morning that made it possible to find her. While in reinforcement of the gendarmes, the firefighters divers had left to search in the water points of the sector and the Rangers ready to leave in the woods, it is a group of a dozen people, mobilized around the first deputy mayor, who found the 50-year-old. The commander of Yssingeaux’s company, Sabrina Mouëza, had asked them to concentrate on the sector closest to the house from which she had left.

And they discovered it in a wood at a place called Longefont (commune of Saint-Julien-d’Ance). We do not yet know the reasons for this disappearance.
