Social networks occupy a prominent place in our digital lives. Just look at the hustle and bustle that can cause a general outage on popular platforms or the enormous weight of a company such as Meta which obviously does not fail to make the front page of all the media when it lays off mass of employees.
Recently, it’s the controversies of Elon Musk at the head of Twitter that have attracted many eyes as this social network has far fewer active users than Facebook or Instagram – but its importance lies elsewhere.
TikTok vs. Facebook?
And, in the middle of it all, TikTok. The cataloged platform “ youth social network rolls his bump despite a few bumps. Trends are created there every day, like the very popular AI Manga filter.
Driven by a great dynamic, TikTok will already tickle the behemoths of the sector such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Between its uninterrupted flow of videos, its generally very young audience, the power of its algorithm and its ability to propel influencers in record time, some could see in this platform the symbol that social networks are entering a new era.
Many times announced, the death of Facebook has however still not taken place and the social network founded by Mark Zuckerberg can still claim to be the most used in the world many years after its creation.
