After Hayden Christensen returns as Darth Vader in “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi”, he should now also be part of the series “Ahsoka”.

The world of “Star Wars” fans was already upside down last December: the streaming service Disney + announced at the time that Hayden Christensen (40) would return to his old role as Darth Vader for the series “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi”. so reports “The Hollywood Reporter” exclusively about itthat Christensen will also appear in the series “Ahsoka” as Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader.

“Ahsoka” revolves around the character of the same name Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson, 42) from the Disney + hit “The Mandalorian”. Any information about the plot is so far secret. However, the news portal informs that “Star Wars” veteran Dave Filoni (47) is contributing the script and at the same time acting as a producer with Jon Favreau (55).

How big is Christensen’s role?

How Christensen’s character is incorporated into the series is also unknown. After all, “Ahsoka” is supposed to be scheduled five years after “The Return of the Jedi” (1983) and thus also five years after Darth Vader’s death. Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano was a former padawan of Anakin Skywalker. It is therefore possible that the 40-year-old actor appears in flashback scenes.

Christensen became a star with “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones” (2002) and “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith” (2005). After more than 15 years, it is now celebrating its comeback to the franchise. Production of “Ahsoka” is said to begin in early 2022.
