Singer Hayko died at the age of 48 after a coronavirus infection. He became known as a participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007.

The Armenian singer Hayko died at the age of 48 as a result of a coronavirus infection. The chief physician of the Yerevan State Medical University, Shushan Danielyan, confirmed this to the Armenian State Radio. Hayko has been in critical condition since September 21, 2021 after contracting Covid-19.

ESC pays tribute to Hayko

Hayko became known as a participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. On the Twitter page The international music event says: “We are very sad about the death of the Armenian artist Hayko. Hayko represented his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, where he took 8th place with his touching ballad ‘Anytime You Need’. You will always be in be our hearts “.

Hayko has written music for a number of films. In 2007, 2010 and 2011 he was voted composer of the year in his country.

The musician leaves behind a son, with whom he proudly showed himself on countless Instagram photos.
