Good news for all Game of Thrones fans: all eight seasons of the cult series will be available in full on HBO Max. What’s more, it will be offered in 4 K HDR on compatible televisions, also taking advantage of Dolby Atmos sound. Only problem, we still have to wait for the release of the streaming platform in France.
HBO is obviously preparing the launch with great fanfare of House of the Dragon. The Game of Thrones prequel will be available on August 8 on HBO Max, the American channel’s streaming platform. For the occasion, the latter has decided to return to the roots of this new event series. As you might expect, the entirety of Game of Thrones will soon be streaming on the SVOD service.
The perfect opportunity to get back in the mood before starting the new series, especially since HBO has not done things by halves. Indeed, in a recent press release, the channel specifies that the eight seasons of Game of Thrones will be available in 4 K HDR, in order to enjoy the best possible experience for the most nostalgic as for neophytes. The icing on the cake, the series will also feature Dolby Atmos sound.
HBO Max will broadcast Game of Thrones in the best conditions
So this is great news for all subscribers to the streaming service. Until now, the only way to enjoy the series in such good conditions was the Blu-Ray collection, available for more than 240 €. Suffice to say that this offer is aimed above all at true fans (who are probably ready to relive the last season for the less controversial).

Despite everything, French Internet users will have to wait a little longer before taking advantage of this attractive offer. If HBO Max has been available in several European countries since last year already, this is not yet the case in France and we may well have to wait until 2023 to have access to it. In all likelihood, the entirety of Game of Thrones will already be there to console us.
