Just a few days ago, Jackson Greathouse Fall set himself a very special challenge: ask ChatGPT-4 to make him rich with an initial bet of $100, saying he was ready to follow the recommendations of the AI. To start, the OpenAI chatbot recommended him to launch an e-commerce site whose model is similar to the existing ones. The IA specified that it would ideally be necessary to sell eco-responsible products there, because the field is still not very competitive while being very lucrative.
Following this answer, the designer had to buy a domain name. The AI made him a first off-budget proposal before falling back on GreenGadgetGuru.com (which therefore exists), a name “ bit expensive but eye-catching “. Jackson Greathouse Fall therefore had an idea and a domain name at his disposal, he only had to set up a site. A “prompt” was written by ChatGPT to be integrated into DALL-E, which then generated a logo. After that, a design and a slogan were proposed and used. So the next task was to fill the site with articles and publicize it.
How to generate money?
To attract potential customers and investors, it was necessary to promote the site and “sell” products there. ChatGPT then generated an article listing the 10 essential eco-friendly gadgets for responsible cooking, after which a whole list of real products was retrieved and integrated into the site. The rest is ultimately quite standard. The chatbot offered to advertise GreenGadgetGuru on Facebook and Twitter, and accompanied it with a few posts. DALL-E took care of providing illustrations, and that was it.
Just 24 hours after the results were posted, an investor had already offered $100 for 25% of the company. A few days later, Jackson Greathouse tweeted that $1,378 had been generated from the investments. One of the contributors even offered $500 for 2% of the business, valuing it at $25,000. The experiment ended on March 16, and the site has not been updated since. It is not possible to buy anything there, and the buttons are not operational.
