Luke Tyrell, a 34-year-old man, has had a very bad experience after using the Johnson’s Baby Shampoo Gold. Marketed for babies, the shampoo has caused severe allergic reactions at Luke Tyrell. The man says having purchased the product at a local supermarket and using it for her hair on Monday, March 14. He thought baby shampoo would be soothing for his scalp. Which was obviously not the case since the 34-year-old man found himself in suffer excruciating pain just a few minutes later.
The product is marketed as “an ideal shampoo for your baby“, yet he has made the skin red and very irritated. “It was very painful, like an acid burn all along my neck, and my throat started to swell“, said Luke. He also confirmed that the pains and irritations only faded afterhe took antihistamines he had at home. Luke also claims in a Facebook post thathe doesn’t have sensitive skin at all.
Other users have had allergic reactions using the baby soap
After sharing his story on Facebook, he was amazed to see that many other users met almost the same fate as him. The same baby shampoo has caused skin reactions more or less serious in them. “I posted a status on my Facebook on Tuesday, and I was shocked to see how many other people have suffered reactions to their products“, he confided. A Facebook user commented on Luke Tyrell’s post, writing: “I made my whole face blush and swell when i was 14“.”I stopped using it years ago when the shampoo made my scalp itchy. It was hell ! It was a horrible thing“, commented another.
