The rise of Glen Powell
According to World of Real, JJ Abrams has already found the star of his film in the person of Glen Powell. Aged 35, the actor with an athletic physique was revealed in Top Gun Maverick in 2022, the biggest success that year with 1.5 billion dollars raked in worldwide. He then made himself known to the general public in the romantic comedy Everything But You with Sydney Sweeney.
Released in theaters last January, the feature film was the surprise success of early 2024 with 220 million dollars collected at the global box office for a budget of 25 million. In the meantime, we will be able to find Glen Powell from July 17 in theaters. The American actor will headline Twisters, a sequel to the cult film about tornadoes released in 1996.

But when her friend Javi asks her to test a new tornado detector, she agrees to return to the heart of the action. She then meets the charming and reckless Tyler Owens, famous for his tornado chasing videos posted on social networks. As storm season reaches its peak, tornadoes of unprecedented magnitude are putting lives at risk.
