Childbirth, laborious and above all painful labor for women who sometimes spend long hours in the labor room to expel their baby weighing several kilos. But for this man from Switzerland, giving birth is not a valid enough reason. A neighbor of Männedorf hospital and visibly upset by these cries that he describes as noise nuisance, he filed a complaint against the establishment.
Before the Court, the complainant explained that women at work "Scream too loud". An unlikely situation since the spokesperson for the hospital indicated " understand " this man's distress, before adding: “You still can't tell a woman to shut up! "
Even more astonishing, the justice ended up proving him right, by forbidding the maternity hospital to open its windows in the future. To compensate for this lack of freedom, the establishment will have to install an air conditioning system so that these women can at least have the right to stay cool.
