He finds 150,000 euros by chance and decides to report them to the police

A good deed rewarded. A 50-year-old man reported 150,000 euros to German police after discovering the money in a second-hand kitchen bought on the internet.

Resident of the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld, located in Saxony-Anhalt in eastern Germany, the 50-year-old went last week to the Köthen police station with two boxes full of money, reported Der Spiegel .

The tickets were in envelopes placed in the boxes, stored in the second-hand kitchen, said the German media.

The gesture of the 50-year-old man was rewarded because he was able to leave with 3% of the sum found, or around 4,500 euros.

While waiting to find its owner, the money was placed with the district court, said the German police. The latter is investigating the former owner of the kitchen.
