It took less than a month for this player to achieve the feat of completing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in less than an hour.

Released on May 12, the final opus of the legendary saga Zelda is a real box office with more than 10 million units sold. If the title already holds several records, this is also the case for this player who completed the adventure faster than you completed the tutorial.

When Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom invites players to surpass themselves

Remember, last month we were talking about the performance of a certain Player 5, who had overcome The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in a record time. The latter only needed 94 minutes, or 1 hour 34 minutes, to complete the main adventure of Nintendo’s latest production. To achieve this, he had not used any amiibo at the time.

Since then, and it was to be expected, several players have managed to break this record, gradually approaching the symbolic bar of one hour. We think of Orcastraw, who completed it in just over 1 hour 25 minutes, or Samura1man, who only needed an hour, 6 minutes and 26 seconds to complete his journey at within the Kingdom of Hyrule.

Finish the last Zelda in less than an hour? It’s already done !

More recently, a certain SlyZorua was the holder of a brand new record with a time of one hour, 2 minutes and 42 seconds displayed on the counter. But the latter is already giving way to the Japanese Zdi6923, who has just finished Tears of the Kingdom in less than an hour. No, you’re not dreaming, only three weeks after the release of the title, this player needed only 59 minutes and 22 seconds to end his journey. A journey that essentially took place in the sky for our speedrunner friend.

let’s remember that Tears of the Kingdom is the direct (and long-awaited) sequel to the opus released in 2017, namely Breath of the Wild. It now remains to be seen when this new record, freshly established by Zdi6923, will be broken. Next step: go below the 55-minute mark?
