15-year-old Ethan Crumbley killed four students at his school in cold blood with a semi-automatic pistol his father donated on Black Friday. The parents as well as the teenager were found by the authorities after a brief run.
This story is totally implausible and it takes place in northern Detroit, United States. On the occasion of Black Friday on November 26, James Crumbley decided to give a semi-automatic pistol to his 15-year-old son. It was a “early Christmas present” according to information relayed by The Parisian. But the father of the family did not realize the massacre that was going to engender the weapon. The young Ethan filmed himself the day before the drama, confiding his intention to fire in his school, without broadcasting the video on the Internet. That same day, the teenager went to get ammunition when he was supposed to be in class: “I’m not mad. Next time don’t get caught.”, simply replied his mother by SMS. A reaction that is cold in the back.
But the worst is yet to come. The next morning, Ethan Crumbley opened fire at his school. As a result, four students were killed and seven others were seriously injured. And instead of surrendering to the authorities, the parents of the young teenager have “decided not to take their son home, not to tell anyone that he might be dangerous” explained the prosecutor. Just before the shooting, the mother reportedly sent a final message to her child: “Ethan, don’t do it” After a brief run, the Crumbley family was finally found this Friday, September 3, in an industrial building. Despite the couple’s suspicious attitude, their lawyers assured them that they intended to surrender to the authorities.
15 years in prison for parents
Accused of not having done what is necessary to stop the terrible act of their son, Jennifer and James Crumbley each face fifteen years in prison and are targeted by four counts. The 15-year-old has meanwhile been charged with “terrorist act” and “assassinations” and could risk life imprisonment. The parents’ attempt to flee obviously made their case worse.
