Two brothers died on February 10 in the state of Oregon, in the northwestern United States. One was accidentally killed, the other committed suicide.
Officers at the Josephine County, Oregon aid station did not expect a distress call in such tragic circumstances. On the morning of February 10, around 7 a.m., a man dialed 911. On the phone, he explained that he had accidentally shot on his brother. The fatal bullet left when he was loading his gunreports the weekly The Oregonian.
The American was handle his gun hastilyearly in the morning, because he had just spotted a bear on his property, according to Josephine County Deputy Sheriff Travis Snyder. The man had the firm intention to slaughter the animalwhen he finally took his own brother’s life.
The shooter committed suicide in “bear country”
Presumably, after hanging up his phone, the clumsy shooter, seized with insurmountable guiltfriends end of life. “Upon arrival, officers found a male deceased, believed to have been sustained by a gunshot wound. Upon checking the rest of the dwelling, a second male was found dead, from a wound he appeared to have sustained. to be inflicted”the sheriff’s statement read.
But the press release does not specify what became of the bear. He certainly had time to escape from the property. Oregon State is home to some 25,000 black bearsaccording to the Josephine County Parks Department, which warns people living in “bear country” keep food and waste in a safe place and move away slowly if a bear approaches.
