According to the first elements of the investigation, opened on Monday by the Chalon prosecutor’s office, the crimes were allegedly perpetrated by a certain Jonathan Cune. This driving school manager had been separated from his wife for several months and had an affair with his secretary.

According to Patrice Guigon, prosecutor of Chalon-sur-Saône, it was first Sarah Goujon, Jonathan Cune’s secretary, who was discovered on Sunday by the authorities in the parking lot of a commercial area of ​​Saint-Rémy. Slaughtered, the young woman in her thirties was hospitalized in emergency but did not survive. A few hours later, while going to Gergy’s home of the latter’s boss, investigators discovered the stabbed bodies of Audrey Clément, wife of Jonathan Cune, and their daughter Albane, barely 5 years old.

Suspect’s body recovered

At the same time, an abandoned vehicle was discovered in the parking lot of the Pont de la Caille, in Haute-Savoie. The investigators identified it as belonging to Jonathan Cune, and understood that he had ended his life on the “suicide bridge”, a building 150 meters high located between the municipalities of Allonzier-la- Quail and Cruseilles. The body of the suspect was also found shortly after, indicated the public prosecutor of Thonon-les-Bains, Bruno Badré, to AFP. The body of an individual likely to be that of the perpetrator“, he said before confirming that the body was indeed that of Jonathan Cune.

The investigation was entrusted to the research section of the Dijon gendarmerie. “We want to provide as many answers as possible to the families of the victims, since Jonathan Cune will not be able to answer in court for these three homicides.“, said Patrice Guigon on Tuesday.
