When she talks about her parents, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine is full of praise. She readily portrays them as a father and mother very invested in the careers of all their children: Véronique, Sophie, Claire, Magali, Hubert, Benjamin and Anne-Elisabeth. Jean-Pierre Lemoine, the journalist’s father, rigorously follows all of her appearances on television. Present in Michel Drucker’s show, in Looking forward to Sunday, on November 19, 2023, she knows that her father watched her arrival carefully. She even goes so far as to warn the famous presenter that he too will be analyzed. “They are going to watch the Michel show, they are going to debrief it for me. He’ll tell me ‘So Michel wasn’t very good on this one’“Philippe Coelho’s companion explained with amusement before adding with humor: “He can produce Michel attention for you”. An invitation to which the 81-year-old presenter responded very seriously: “I am very focused Jean-Pierre”.
Parents very invested in their children’s careers
The Lemoine parents, Jean-Pierre and Brigitte, had seven children with very different backgrounds. Questioned by Michel Drucker in turn about their respective professions, Anne-Elisabeth, usually discreet about her private life, responded straight away about siblings. First of all, his sister Véronique works in a bank, Hubert in finance, Sophie is a nurse, Claire is a notary clerk, Magali is a lawyer and Benjamin is a doctor at the CNRS. “Well, you don’t joke about studies in the family”commented Michel Drucker with irony. “No”, replied the host of France 5 before explaining: “My father and mother followed each of our journeys as if they themselves were taking the exams ; that is to say that my father can be a notary clerk, a nurse, work in finance, a state doctor at the CNRS, a sociologist, a political scientist and a journalist. They do all the jobs because they are so present, even now”. A central role that she had already explained a few years earlier in the show The Tube by Isabelle Ithurburu broadcast on Canal+ in 2017, including the extract was included in Looking forward to Sunday for the occasion.
