Heidi Klum protected her daughter from the media for a long time. After 16 years Leni Klum is now going her own way and showing herself to the public. And in no other way than on the cover of German Vogue.

The game of hide and seek is finally over. Heidi Klum proudly presents her beautiful and pretty grown up daughter Leni Klum to the whole world. The 16-year-old is now making her model debut with her Vogue cover and even chats about life with her famous model mom in an interview. Of course, she insisted on making Leni as comfortable as possible on set.

Cut off the mother's face

If you look at the cover like this, it quickly becomes clear that the pretty blonde has definitely inherited the potential of her famous model mom. She skilfully stages herself in the pictures and videos and is in no way inferior to her mother. Both blondes definitely don't need crazy styling and heavy make-up. Both mother and daughter are surprisingly natural. They wear their hair open with a natural structure and less is more when it comes to make-up. Her huge Bambi eyes are only accentuated by a little mascara and eyeliner.

Heidi's crew: familiar faces on the set

Of course, model mom Heidi leaves nothing to chance on the set of Leni's first big modeling job and does not hand her eldest daughter into unknown hands. The team consisted of old friends: Make-up artist Linda Hay has been one of Heidi's closest confidants and friends for over 20 years and has seen little Leni grow up. Hairstylist Lorenzo Martin is also a familiar face at Klum and has often styled Heidi for her television appearances in the past.

Was it possible for Leni to learn a few tricks from him as a child? In terms of styling, none other than Christiane Arp, editor-in-chief of German Vogue, was personally at work. She staged the mother-daughter duo on the cover in bright Versace power suits, which of course complement each other perfectly in terms of color. They too have been working closely together for many years.

Emotional cover for Vogue boss Christiane Arp

More than 17 years ago Christiane Arp published her first cover as editor-in-chief of the German Vogue. Cover model? Of course Heidi! In the course of her career, she repeatedly put the top model on the cover and even dedicated an entire issue to her. All the more emotionally, she announced that the latest cover with Heidi will be her last and that she is giving up her position as Editor-in-Chief. In her video, she thanks Heidi for the long cooperation and, above all, for her trust in showing her daughter Leni. And so Arp ends her Vogue career exactly as she started: with Germany's most famous blonde.
