Heidi Klum: GNTM candidate predicts her a baby

The first episode of the casting show "Germany's next top model" is over. At the open casting in the Olympic Stadium in Munich, model mom Heidi Klum (46), supported by guest judge Julien MacDonald (48) at the opening show, had to break hearts again and again, but also made it clear: "The 15th season will be harder than never before". The role as a dream destroyer is "no fun", but "Germany's next top model" is a competition, says Klum. The direction of the move was immediately clear.

"You walk like an octopus"

It was therefore clear that not all of the candidates who had traveled could meet the high standards. No wonder that one or the other tried to draw attention to itself in other ways. So also Charlotte (25). The hobby card reader dared to take a look at Heidi Klum's future. Designer MacDonald wanted to know: Are Klum and her new husband Tom Kaulitz (30) still having a child together? "Heidi is going to have another baby," the cards said. Charlotte actually went one round because of, or maybe despite, her special gift.

Just like candidate Lucy (21) from Kassel, who came out as a transgender at the age of 18. She had previously been certified as the "strangest walk" by Klum. And MacDonald added: "You look good, but you walk like an octopus" – including the corresponding hand movements. Nevertheless, the judges liked Lucy's art and they invited the 21-year-old to the exclusive fashion show, which took place the very next day.

Trip catwalk

It had it all. Because many of the girls had never run on high shoes before, let alone in front of an invited audience. After the show, it was also decided who was allowed to fly with Klum to Costa Rica, the next stop on the way to the final. But before the catwalk opened, the budding models were put in dresses that designer MacDonald had designed for singer Bebe Rexha (30) or Kim Kardashian (39), among others. There were also tips from guest judge Milla Jovovich (44), which in the end, however, could not be taken to heart by every young model.

Completely styled and in high-heeled shoes, the hustle and bustle, the tension and the pressure became noticeable with some. Overall, three of the participants stumbled and fell. But even without falling down, Heidi was not enthusiastic about all the candidates: "No rhythm", "she looks bored" or "she didn't have it in her blood", for example, she judged.

"Too old for the shit"

Then the decision came. In the middle of the selection process, Marcia (27), who previously let her know that she was too old "for the shit", stubbornly stepped onto the stage and said good-bye: "This is not my thing". Klum made it short and painless: "You shouldn't stop travelers." All those who got ahead were allowed to move on with Heidi Klum and travel to Costa Rica. Where Klum wants to get "everything out of her team" in the next episode.
