Why is the actor Heinz Hoenig banned from all jungle tests so far? Now the broadcaster RTL has its say.
The first week of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” (daily on RTL or on RTL+) is almost over. In the last few days, viewers have been able to vote by telephone as to which candidates have to take the jungle test. It’s not unusual for one of the jungle campers to be banned from time to time for health reasons, especially during physically demanding tests. But this year one candidate is attracting a lot of attention in this regard.
Camp senior Heinz Hoenig (72) is regularly banned from all jungle tests. Now surprisingly even for the food test, which actually doesn’t require any physical requirements. The news agency spot on news asked the broadcaster RTL about the background.
Suspended for “health reasons”
A spokesman explains: “Heinz was banned from the last jungle trials due to health reasons. Each of our stars has the right to take part in the show, whether with or without taking part in the jungle trials. Heinz enriches our camp to a great extent, as he has in the past Shows were impressive to see. He made us cry and laugh and motivated his fellow campers.”
Heinz Hoenig is slowly thawing
His relaxation exercises for the body and voice are already part of the camp residents’ beloved daily rituals. Hoenig apparently once learned the bizarre warm-up contortions in American acting schools. The star actor, who was still reserved when he moved into the camp, is slowly thawing out. Hoenig sings, Hoenig dances and participates loudly in discussions. And in the meantime, I was also able to complete a mini-task outside of the actual exams…
After all, Heinz Hoenig went treasure hunting in the jungle with Fabio Knez on day six. When they arrived at the “letter soup”, a muddy pool filled with quiz questions awaited the two. While Fabio fished for questions in the pool, Heinz was able to sit on the bank and answer them. Unfortunately, the treasure hunt did not end successfully due to a lack of general knowledge and not enough time.
