In September, Heinz Hoenig becomes a father for the fourth time – and that at the age of 70. Has family planning been completed for him and his wife?
At the end of September, Heinz Hoenig (70) will welcome his fourth child into the world. The two publicly announced in March that the actor and his wife Annika (37), who have had their son Juliano since December 2020, are again expecting children. The actor has no respect or even fear of taking care of two little boys at the age of 70.
“I don’t find it exhausting at all,” emphasizes Hoenig in an interview with the magazine “Bunte”. Rather, his little son shows him things that he himself has already completely forgotten. “It’s a gift, it’s not stressful. The children give us gifts through and through. […] We learn more from the children than the other way around,” the actor clarifies.
Son Juliano keeps him fit
Because of his scion, Hoenig wakes up every morning with “a smile”. He advises other parents “not to plan everything” and rather let the day “take it easy”. Through Juliano he rediscovered “the whole life”, which makes him “satisfied”.
His wife Annika, to whom Hoenig has been married since 2019, has no doubts about her husband’s age or ability. “Heinz is younger in mind than many others. He will no longer run a marathon, but he doesn’t have to,” she added in an interview with “Bunte”. The 37-year-old enjoys her “dream pregnancy” and only has to struggle with water retention: “But I’m very relaxed about it.”
Family planning complete?
Nevertheless, the two agree that after the birth of their second son they “fulfilled their target”. “We want to save our strength and energy for our two boys, after that family planning is over for us, I find everything else irresponsible,” says Annika.
After the birth in September, Hoenig and his Annika are parents of a total of five children. In addition to his son Juliano, the actor also has a son and a daughter from his first marriage. Annika brought another daughter into the relationship.
