Heir to Flashback, the cinematic platformer LUNARK will be published by WayForward

From the first seconds of the trailer for LUNARK this kinship with the classic cinematic platformer signed Delphine Software jumps in the face. Whether it’s the hero’s animations strictly identical to those of Conrad, the rotoscoping cutscenes, some shots of which are also very similar to those of his model and even of certain enemies, LUNARK fully plays the card of homage – not to say borrowing – from Flashback.

This twelve-level adventure by Canari Games will take us to a distant future where Humanity has finished ravaging planet Earth. Saved by NOAH, a supercomputer installed on the Moon which transformed the latter into an emergency spaceship to relocate it to a more hospitable world, Humanity now lives under the yoke of this superior intelligence and its army of droids. We will embody Leo, a young man with extraordinary athletic abilities, as the rebellion against the tyranny of LUNARK – named after the ship built by NOAH, now in orbit around the host planet – has sounded.

LUNARK can therefore count on the support of WayForward to move quietly towards its release scheduled for the end of the year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. For its part, Limited Run Games will publish and distribute a physical edition of the game on PS4, PS5 and Switch.
