Helen Mirren is allowed to host the four-part competition show “Hogwarts Tournament of Houses” in which fans compete against each other.

For the 20th anniversary of the first “Harry Potter” film, Warner Bros. has a special event planned: a show called “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses” which means “Hogwarts Tournament of Houses”. This is a competition in which fans of the book and film series compete against each other and fight for the honorary title of “House Cup Champion”.

Helen Mirren (76) could be won as a presenter for the four-part event, as reported by “Deadline”, among other things. The Oscar winner was delighted in an official statement: “I knew that one day I would get a Harry Potter role, and I’m very excited to be part of the film’s 20th anniversary celebration.” The films have enchanted so many and it is an honor for her to rekindle this magic, continues Mirren.

“Special surprise guests” expected

At “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses” fans will put their “Harry Potter” knowledge to the test in hundreds of quiz questions. They can also look forward to “special surprise guests”. Tom Ascheim, President of Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults and Classics, described the series of events as “an arena for the leagues of ‘Harry Potter’ film fans to expand their knowledge of the wizarding world”.

The series of events is slated to begin late this month and will likely be streamed by HBO Max later this year.
