The Venice Film Festival opened on Wednesday evening. Helen Mirren drew everyone’s attention with a sparkling robe.
Helen Mirren (76) was a guest at the opening of the 78th Venice Film Festival on Wednesday evening (September 1st). The British actress shone in a sparkling metallic robe by Dolce & Gabbana. The floor-length, high-necked dress with three-quarter sleeves and a small train accentuated Mirren’s narrow waist with its tight cut.
The British woman combined a silver clutch and earrings with the glamorous robe, while her slightly wavy hair was combined with a matching headband. Mirren was accompanied on the red carpet by husband Taylor Hackford, 76.
From September 1st to 11th, stars and starlets will show up in the Italian city of love to present their latest works and / or to win the Golden Lion. The film industry event was opened by Pedro Almodóvar (71) film “Madres paralelas” with Penélope Cruz (47). In addition, director Roberto Benigni (68, “Life is beautiful”) was honored with a Golden Lion for his life’s work.
