Helena from Star Academy bursts into tears

Nominated this week alongside 3 other candidates, candidate Héléna burst into tears during her stage preparation class with Cécile Chaduteau. A saving emotion which helped her deliver a great training performance.

Already 3 weeks ago, 13 students joined the Château Star Academy in Dammarie-les-Lys with a common dream in mind: to become a known and recognized singer. A very busy schedule awaits them every day to achieve this goal. Accompanied by experienced vocal coaches, the candidates certainly train to sing, but also to dance, act and acquire a real stage presence. Their intense rhythm begins at 8 a.m. and is made up of lessons that they follow assiduously, notably with Adeline Toniutti, singing teacher, Pierre de Brauer, theater teacher, Malika Benjelloun, dance teacher, or Cécile Chaduteau, new stage expression teacher. This workshop aims in particular to break down the physical barriers of candidates, by teaching them to move flexibly to allow them to fully express their feelings when they perform a piece on the day of the prime.

Cécile Chaduteau: “You need to work on your emotion! »

Helping her release her emotions is precisely what Cécile Chadutau tried to do this Friday, November 24 with Héléna. The young Belgian woman is one of the nominees this week alongside Marie-Maud, with whom she is in a duo, and Julien and Clara. During the famous stage expression class, the teacher offered him a first piece of advice: to free himself. “You don’t trust yourself (…) Stop thinking about gradesyou sing, you have a magnificent voice, you need to work on your emotion, trust yourself! » she encouraged. “I’m going to cry, Cécile,” then alerted the person concerned before carrying out his threat and bursting into tears. Afterwards, she went back to work, started preparing her song again but was again overcome by emotion. “You have to believe it, you have a sublime voice, and stop saying ‘I sing out of tune’! » then ordered his preparer. All it took was Héléna to regain lost confidence and deliver a “magnificent” and “vibrant” performance that impressed Cécile Chadutau. It remains to be seen whether the prime time on Saturday, November 25 will not destabilize the most emotional. Who will come out on top?
