Soon there will be new music from Helene Fischer. A duet with US star Josh Groban was created in a special way.

Musically, pop singer Helene Fischer (36) has recently made little talk. In May of this year it will be exactly three years since she released her last album so far, "Helene Fischer". But now Fischer has reported a special duet to the numerous fans on her official Instagram account. Accordingly, she recorded a joint cover version of the hit "I'll Stand By You" by The Pretenders with US star Josh Groban (39).

The two have known each other since the end of 2019, when they sang together on Fischer's ZDF show. The pop star seems to have left a lasting impression on the baritone singer. About the now recorded duet she writes in her post: "Something wonderful has developed from this performance. (…) Thanks to you dear Josh for asking me." The song was then "recorded in a zoom call from 3 different time zones – Los Angeles, Nashville and Hamburg".

You can hear the cover song on Groban's upcoming album "Harmony Deluxe", which will be available from February 26th. And for that, Fischer not only wishes him "the best", but has also given her around 800,000 followers a huge boost with her post.
