In Cologne, Helene Fischer continues her “Rausch” tour. Your fans should arrive as early as possible.
After her two-month summer break, Helene Fischer, 39, continues her “Rausch” tour this Friday (August 25). 28 concerts are still on the program in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland. First she gives seven concerts in Cologne until September 2nd, each time in front of around 15,000 spectators. Since “Gamescom” is also taking place in the cathedral city until August 27, those responsible for the Lanxess Arena recommend arriving early.
“A very high volume of traffic is to be expected”
It will be the singer’s first tour appearance after her stage accident in June, in which she hit her head on a trapeze bar and lacerated her above her nose. She then had to cancel the concert in Hanover. Now she has had two months to recover. Their shows in Cologne begin at 8 p.m. Admission is from 6 p.m. Visitors should prepare for a longer journey. The Lanxess Arena website says: “A very high volume of traffic is to be expected. We therefore recommend arriving very early so that there is enough time for parking and for checking in as well as for the security and ticket controls.” It is advisable to switch to public transport. But there is also a problem: “However, please note when you arrive that there may be restrictions due to construction work at Cologne Central Station and on the route between Düsseldorf and Cologne.”
First rib fracture, then laceration
The tour was a real tour de force for Helene Fischer in advance. She had been planning the spectacle with Cirque du Soleil for more than two years and completed tough training with the dancers and acrobats in Canada just a year after the birth of her daughter. During the rehearsals at dizzying heights on the trapeze, she sustained a rib fracture, so that the start of the tour could only take place a few weeks later than planned. Among other things, the Cologne concerts now taking place had to be postponed.
At the last concert before the summer break, the singer suffered another injury on June 18 in Hanover. Professionally, she still bled heavily through the song after the trapeze accident, but the concert had to be canceled afterwards. “I’m fine. I was well taken care of,” Fischer then reassured on her Instagram page. Her wound was stitched up in the hospital. “There was also no fracture or anything else found.” She further explained: “I’m now using the break to recover and recharge my batteries so that I can rock with all of you again in Cologne!”
Tour finale on October 8th in Frankfurt
This break is now over and fans can look forward to more emotional experiences with their star. Helene Fischer amazed her viewers with emotional stage performances with her partner Thomas Seitel, 38. The couple, who like to enjoy their private lives, let their emotions run free, hugged and kissed. The pop singer is on the road until October 8th. Then the big tour finale in Frankfurt should be celebrated.
