Helicopter deployment – motorcyclist emergency operated after accident

On Saturday evening, a 32-year-old crashed his motorcycle in Weißenbach near Liezen and was seriously injured.

At around 7:15 p.m., a 32-year-old from the Liezen district drove his motorcycle along the R7 cycle path between Liezen and Weißenbach. In the area of ​​a right-hand bend, his vehicle went too far to the left and hit a bridge railing. The motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries to his upper body. He received first aid from the Red Cross and was then flown by the Christophorus 14 rescue helicopter to the LKH Bruck an der Mur, where he immediately underwent emergency surgery.
