Helicopter operation – ski accident in Carinthia: child and holidaymaker injured

An eleven-year-old student and a 55-year-old holidaymaker from the Czech Republic collided on Saturday morning in the Katschberg ski area in Carinthia on a ski path between two slopes at around 1,700 meters above sea level. Both suffered injuries.

The injured boy had to be flown to the Klagenfurt Clinic by the crew of a rescue helicopter. The Czech was taken by rescue to the Tamsweg Hospital, the police said.
