Hellblade II will offer a more believable and polished experience, says Ninja Theory co-founder

If Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was made with a small budget, but is still a very good game that has been greatly appreciated by players and specialized editorial staff, the Ninja Theory development studio has since been bought by Microsoft. Which means that he now has strong support, be it financial or otherwise. Therefore, there is a strong chance thatHellblade II (Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, by its full name) is much more impressive than its elder. Moreover, studio co-founder Tameem Antoniades recently spoke about the sequel to Senua’s adventures.

It was at the microphone of NME that the co-founder was able to deliver some information about Hellblade II. So he said that Ninja Theory’s ambitions were high : “ The goal with Hellblade 2 is not to perfect it, but to create a more believable and polished experience. Its ambition in terms of scale is greater”. In this sense, the development studio has employed the great means, in particular via a location scouting of more than 40 places, the making of costumes, training of actors, and many others. ” The idea is credibility – making things real or believable – and the best way to do that is to base everything on real things”, he explains. Furthermore, he added: I think Hellblade 2 will make Hellblade look like an indie game”. Reassuring words that will certainly keep players waiting, eager to get their hands on Hellblade II.

As a reminder, Hellblade II must be released exclusively on PC and Xbox Series. For the moment, the development studio and the publisher have not given a precise release date.
