The Upstream Arcade studio (West of Dead) takes the opportunity to deliver a new trailer which reveals a little better the stakes of Web of Wyrd. Trapped in a strange mansion manipulated by esoteric forces, Hellboy must as much escape from it, using the weapons he finds, as unravel a conspiracy with global implications. It will be a roguelite action game with a strong focus on melee combat. We can see places full of atmosphere, such as a cemetery of werewolves, as well as cross Pr. Trevor “Broom” Bruttenholm (offscreen) and the storyteller Scheherazade.
It will not be recalled enough, it is the late Lance Reddick who will be the voice of Hellboy in this new opus, while the screenplay benefits from the pen of Mike Mignola himself. A beautiful duo to bring to life the demon with the most unbalanced arms of pop culture.
Hellboy Web of Wyrd will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on October 4th.
