Weapons
The elements of the Viper Commandos set offer you a true “Thunder in the Tropics” experience.
To start, we offer you a new version of the Liberator, the AR-23A Liberator Riflewith a reduced bulk factor, which gives it a higher recoil, but a quicker handling than its classic version.
You can combine it with the new sawn-off SG-22 Bushwhacker triple-barreled shotgun, featuring two different types of fire, one of which allows you to fire all three cannons at once. Yes, you read correctly. This shotgun is a secondary weapon. This means you can equip your favorite AR or Shotgun as your primary weapon, and keep the Bushwhacker on hand in case of a melee encounter.
Armors
The armors are not left out either. Discover the PH-9 Predator set, inspired by a veteran of the Viper Commandos who would have repelled an entire brood of terminids using a simple machine gun, his knife and an Orbital Laser. The headgear is a beret that looks decidedly cool when combined with the Mark of the Crimson Fang cape.
The PH-202 Branch breaker set will be ideal for a mission atmosphere in the jungle, particularly associated with the Executioner’s Veil cape. But you can of course mix the two together as you wish.
The two armors of these War Bonds offer passive Optimal physical condition, which improves melee damage and weapon handling. They also both offer a bare-arm style (with big biceps and a variety of random skin tones) to wick away sweat during your tropical operations.
Patterns, bonuses and more
Another exciting addition to these War Bonds, you will find new appearances for your hellpods, exoskeletons and Pelican 1, inspired by classic camouflage patterns. Thus, we are pushing the limits of customization of your equipment even further, to give an even more coherent style to your squad.
One of my favorite things about Viper Commandos is our new utility: the throwing knife. Imagine: you are crushing a swarm of terminids, but suddenly you are out of ammunition when there is only one left! No time to reload: you roll backwards after throwing a hunting knife at the enemy just before they reach you!
A new bonus called Experimental Infusion is also available. It upgrades your stims so that they increase your movement speed and reduce the damage you take for a short duration.
There is obviously new capes, player cards and emotes too.
