Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner handed over 35 new trucks to the Salzburg, Tyrol and Upper Austria militia associations in the Schwarzenberg barracks on Tuesday.
Most recently, important vehicles were even missing during disaster operations. The 7.2 ton trucks now enable the respective vehicle to be converted quickly. In addition to personnel transport, the special vehicles can also be used for medical, telecommunications and workshop services. “With these modern trucks we can help the population faster and more efficiently,” said Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner at the handover in Salzburg.
