Crumbs, fluff etc. can be easily vacuumed up on carpets and upholstered furniture. The situation is different with liquids: if they land on textiles, it is often difficult to remove the stains efficiently. A special carpet cleaner will help.
There are four different types of carpet cleaners on the market:
- carpet cleaning foam
- Carpet cleaning spray
- carpet cleaning powder
- liquid carpet cleaner
There is no such thing as the best type of carpet cleaner. Because not every carpet cleaner is suitable for every material. It also depends on the type of pollution. If you only want to remove spots, a carpet cleaning spray is the best choice. For large areas of dirt, it is best to use carpet cleaning powder or, alternatively, liquid carpet cleaner. This can usually only be used with special machines, but cleans particularly thoroughly. In addition, the liquid cleaner is not suitable for all carpets. Also note that with this cleaner, the residual moisture must first dry before the carpet can be walked on.
