He makes his comeback as Superman official

Henry Cavill has finally made it official: the actor will once again be donning his Superman costume.
After years of rumours, it is now clear: Henry Cavill (39) will slip into his Superman costume again. On Instagram the British actor has now confirmed his comeback. “I want to make it official that I’m returning as Superman,” he proclaims in a short video.
With the announcement he wanted to wait until last weekend after the new DC film “Black Adam” with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (50) as the title hero started on October 20th.

Because: At the end of the strip, Cavill has a short cameo appearance as Superman, who declares war on Black Adam. He still wanted to “give his fans the chance” to see the adventure for themselves. “Black Adam” is “a little taste of what’s to come,” Cavill said. And Dwayne Johnson pointed too in an interview alreadythat he wants a movie where his Black Adam goes up against Superman.
Man of Steel sequel?
It’s now almost ten years since Cavill made a solo appearance as Superman in ‘Man of Steel’ (2013). Recently the message made the roundsthat DC and the Warner Bros. film studio are to work on a sequel to the 2013 Superman film.
Charles Roven (73) could act as a producer for the project. He produced the original almost ten years ago and was responsible for, among other things, “Justice League” – Superman’s appearances in the team of DC heroes. We are currently looking for a screenwriter. Christopher McQuarrie (53) should also be on the wish list. The director-writer collaborated with Henry Cavill on ‘Mission Impossible: Fallout’ (2018).
