This 40-year-old recently returned to live with her parents in May-sur-Orne (Calvados) with her 6-year-old child, reports Actu.fr. Claude (the first name has been changed), 68, appeared before the criminal court on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 for violence committed between April and May 2020. According to his wife and daughter, he always repeated: “Here, it is I who make the law!”, and would have beaten the two women for years. Physical violence to which was added psychological violence.
Last May, Emilie surprises Claude attacking her grandson who allegedly damaged his roses. She intervenes, and her father hits her and then stuck his hand in the car door, twisting her arm. The doctors gave this mother 10 days of total incapacity for work, and the medical certificate was issued. “to a point rarely seen”.
Claude claimed that he was not the executioner but the victim. “I was thinking because my grandson was vandalizing my roses, but it was mainly because there are thorns and he risked getting hurt. She threw herself on me, completely unleashed. just pushed back. So violent that I coughed up blood “, he declared in court, also saying that Emilie would have wanted to strangle him with the cord of his glasses. He behaved in this way throughout the hearing, cutting off the speakers (“I only hit my daughter once, when she stole”, “she lies, she always lied, even to her mother!”), and trying to film the prosecutor during his speech.

Finally, his father will be sentenced to 4 months suspended prison sentence, 24 months probationary suspension, he will have to pay 2,100 euros in damages and interest, pay 200 euros in fine and 800 euros in legal fees. His sentence was accompanied by an obligation of care.
