Questioned during the last organized citizen fight, the relatives of Delphine Jubillar née Aussaguel share their thoughts on the disappearance of their friend.
Interviewed by Point on July 22, 2021, the friends of Delphine Jubillar delivered their last intuitions. They continue to organize regular citizen beatings, helped by people of good will, sometimes even unknown to Delphine. Every Thursday the ritual continues. Our colleagues at Le Point were able to question these loyal relatives, whose slogan is “we never let go”. “We know in what state the body could be”, “we also keep the hope that it is not there” they admit.

Torn between hope and resignation, they also wish to defend the memory of their friend. Concerning her relations with her husband, like the story with her lover, they specify: “she was at a point in her life where she wanted something else, but it shouldn’t be reduced to that”. Her relatives prefer to highlight the maternal face of Delphine, always there for her children and therefore unable to abandon them. And share their intuitions about a voluntary departure in the middle of the night: “Delphine was not stupid, she would never have gone out at night in a nightie”. Investigators have already ruled out a voluntary departure in Spain. Theories are rife, and still no trace of the missing, whose husband, presumed innocent, has been imprisoned since June 2021.
