A dad no longer wants his baby to go to nursery, the mum who does not understand his opinion has asked for advice on a forum. And many were shocked by dad’s explanation…

When the time comes to entrust your children to the crèche, there are adaptation phases, we go step by step and then overnight they are there all day. The children may cry at the time of the separation but it is also difficult for the parents to leave their babies at the crèche. In other cases, it may also be that everything goes very well and that everyone is reassured! But one thing is certain, it’s an important step in the lives of parents and children…

A mother confided in the Babycenter site after her husband confessed to her that he no longer wanted their 2-year-old daughter to go to nursery. Even if the mother is not working at the moment, she finds it difficult to understand her spouse’s concerns. The latter claims that he is worried that his daughter is in the nursery for an amazing reason.

He no longer wants his 2-year-old daughter to go to nursery

The discussions around the nursery constantly cause conflicts in the couple, so the mother no longer knows how to clarify the situation. Her husband is worried because their 2-year-old daughter doesn’t speak yet and, according to him, she will not be able to tell them if something goes wrong at the nursery. The mother on her side is absolutely not worried, she explains in her message that the nursery where her daughter is often sends photos and videos. She adds : “They send us pictures and videos every day when she’s around. She is only there for three hours, from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Monday to Friday.”

The mother asked for advice from the nursing staff who follows her daughter, the pediatrician told her that the interaction with the other children will help her to speak more quickly. A speech therapist also confirmed that it was important that she stay at the crèche. Even if the mother still doubts, she does not think that the best solution would be for her to be at home: “I don’t want to take her out of nursery to be stuck with us having very little interaction with others, it’s just not good for her.” Her husband, for his part, promises her that he will spend more time with them if their daughter is no longer at the nursery and that they will do more things together. The mother does not seem convinced by her husband’s arguments and she continues to be sure that everything is going well in the nursery where her daughter is currently.
