Herbert Tennigkeit is dead. The actor and speaker died at the age of 85 in his hometown of Hamburg.
Herbert Tennigkeit (1937-2022) is dead. The actor and radio play speaker died on Monday (October 10) in his hometown of Hamburg. This was confirmed by his longtime friend Thomas Speyerer of the German Press Agency. Accordingly, the “Black Forest Clinic” actor “slept peacefully” in a clinic. Tennigkeit was 85 years old.
Known as Dr. Laudann from the “Black Forest Clinic”
From 1988 to the end of the series in 1989, Herbert Tennigkeit appeared in 20 episodes of the cult home series “Die Schwarzwaldklinik”. He played the anesthetist Dr. Lau then. He lent his voice to the villain Skeletor for the German version of the cult animated series “He-Man and Masters of the Universe” (1983-1985).
Tennigkeit has also been active as a radio play speaker over the years, for example for Karl May settings and “Die Drei ???”. The busy actor also took part in “Tatort” and “Das Traumschiff” episodes. Tennigkeit was born in 1937 in former East Prussia and has lived in Hamburg since 1979.
