Google’s Pixel Watch is expected to be announced this Thursday, October 6, but it’s already running out of secrets. A Reddit user posted several photos of the watch in its packaging; enough to discover the last elements unknown until then.
We already know a lot about Google’s Pixel Watch, between its design, its price or its functions. But for the moment, it has not been officially presented and will only be this Thursday, October 6, during the Made by Google event, where the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro should also be announced.
Google’s first smartwatch has already been unboxed by a Reddit user named Suckmyn00dle. He does not explain how he managed to obtain the product.

Yesterday, this Internet user published a message on Reddit in which he explains that he got his hands on a Pixel Watch and gives his first impressions: “ it’s thinner than i thought, it looks understated, i really like it, i couldn’t turn it on, because i didn’t want to get caught “. The box is actually thicker than one might think. Upon opening, we directly discover the watch with the Active bracelet already attached, wrapped around a piece of cardboard. It resembles traditional watch packaging, which usually rests on a fabric cushion.

On the back of this box, we can read that the watch is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. We learn that to use certain functions of the watch, it will be necessary to have “a phone with Android 8.0 or higher, a Google account, internet access, and/or the Google Assistant and a paid subscription“.
This user also posted a photo with the Pixel Watch on the wrist next to a 41mm Apple Watch to have a comparison between the two watches.

On the back of the watch box it reads “Google Pixel Watch in polished silver stainless steel, charcoal sport band (small and large bands), USB-C magnetic charging cable. The small bracelet is suitable for wrist circumferences of 130 mm to 175 mm. The large strap fits wrist sizes from 165mm to 210mm“. Finally, the operating system is Wear OS 3.5 and we can read the mentions “Wear OS by Google” as well as “Hey Google“.

Unfortunately, the posted photos do not allow to see precisely how the charging support is designed. We only see that it is not a cable with a connector as some watches may have, but really a support on which we place the Pixel Watch.
