The election of Miss France 2024 will take place at Zenith of Dijon and will be, like every year, animated by Jean-Pierre Foucault, despite some viewers’ criticism of it last year. We do not yet know the personalities who will form the jury for the next competition; on the other hand, we already know that the new director of the Miss France company, Cindy Fabre, will indeed be present. At her side we could find Iris Mittenaere and Diane Leyre, who will compete for the title of Miss Universe in El Salvador on November 18. Could she bring the crown back to Dijon next month?
And if the pressure rises in Central America, it must also begin to be felt among the 30 candidates in the running for the Miss France 2024 competition. Also, others could benefit from the notoriety of a loved one, like Miss Champagne-Ardenne – Noa Dutitre -, daughter of a famous footballer, Lola TurpinMiss Aquitaine 2023, who is the daughter of a former beauty queen, or even Miss New Caledonia – Emma Grousset -, the sister of a world champion.
This election of Miss France 2024 comes a few months after the death of Geneviève de Fontenay, taken away in her sleep at the age of 90. Several former beauty queens expressed their sadness and even paid tribute to her on social networks when they heard the bad news. This is the case of Élodie Gossuin who has already published several messages about her, or of Nathalie Marquay and Sylvie Tellier, with whom Geneviève de Fontenay had been on bad terms for many years.
