For the past few months, rumors have been accelerating around Samsung’s next connected watches, the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro – or Classic. However, while most rumors so far have been content with revealing some of their characteristics, German journalist Roland Quandt went a little further this Friday.

On Twitter, the site journalist WinFuture has indeed published two images which appear to be marketing visuals of the Galaxy Watch 6, then of the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro, before putting them online on the German site.

A rotating bezel and thinner edges

These visuals allow us to discover a design that would remain quite similar to previous Samsung watches, in particular with very tapered lugs that would directly extend the design of the case. There’s also a rotating bezel around the face of the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro, which supports claims that the watch will be more like the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic than the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

In addition, the two visuals also allow you to see part of the screen inside the case. As you’d expect, the bezels around this look much thinner than on previous models, therefore suggesting both wider display diameters for a similar overall build.

In terms of features, we learn that the watches will benefit from an Exynos W930 chip and an optional 4G modem. The Galaxy Watch 6 would be offered in 40 or 44 millimeters while the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic would benefit from 43 or 47 mm versions. All models would also be entitled to a screen protected by sapphire crystal.

As a reminder, the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Pro should be announced during the month of July by Samsung. We expect in particular a formalization during the Galaxy Unpacked conference during which the manufacturer will unveil its new folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
