The trio offered this month to all PlayStation Plus subscribers was not to everyone’s taste. Will those who opted for the Extra and Premium plans be better off?
Sony is definitely at the heart of the news today. The Japanese manufacturer has published its latest financial report, providing an update on the sales of its consoles and its latest releases. The publisher notably plans to sell fewer consoles in the coming months, reminding us that the PS5 is slowly, but surely, approaching the end of its life cycle. Players shouldn’t expect to see God of War, The Last of Us or other strong licenses from PlayStation’s portfolio this year. No matter, PS Plus Extra and Premium members will be able to (re)discover a whole host of new games thanks to their subscription. In fact, the additions to the service for the month of February 2024 have just been released.
PS Plus Extra games for February 2024
The little routine continues for PlayStation Plus Extra. Like PS Now in its time, the new version of the service expands its catalog of games every month. This ranges from in-house productions like Horizon Forbidden West, to hits from its partners like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry from Ubisoft, NieR or Life is Strange from Square Enix, including acclaimed independent productions. There is generally something for everyone, with each genre being widely represented in the catalog. Last month, Sony was able to count on the support of Capcom and 2K with two episodes of their most lucrative franchises. The year had clearly started on a good note, but will there be such strong headliners for PS Plus Extra in February 2024? That’s a big yes.
Between racing with Need for Speed Unbound, Western and Japanese RPGs, LEGO games or even one of the latest Assassin’s Creeds which returns to the catalog, subscribers will clearly have plenty to do. The Tales of license is clearly in the spotlight this month with no less than three games spread across the two formulas. Here are all the new PS Plus Extra games for February 2024:

PlayStation Plus Premium games for February 2024
These 9 games will be added to the catalog from Tuesday February 20, 2024 around 11 a.m. Conversely, several titles will leave the catalog on this same date, including the very good Resident Evil 7, Tekken 7 and Ace Combat 7. Alongside them, RPGs from Square Enix and quality independent titles.
We know the ritual by heart now, PS Plus Premium subscribers will also benefit from a few additional additions, in addition to those of the Extra formula. The offer allows, as we recall, to play great classics drawn from the brand’s retro catalog, ranging from the PS1 to the PS3 via the PSP. Here is the program for February 2024:
