Here are the keys to getting your child back to sleep

Sleep, when all is well, we quickly forget its importance, but when a grain of sand seizes the machine, it quickly becomes a hassle for the whole family. Fortunately, solutions exist to remedy the problem and help children get back to sleep. Aurélie Callet * provides an update for us.

First of all, we eliminate all the brakes on sleep, whether physiological and / or psychological.

Always listen to your instincts as a parent, if you feel that something is wrong, listen to yourself and explore. You are often very good doctors.

Observe your baby’s rhythm, often they are put to bed too late. Put your baby and older babies to bed before signs of fatigue appear. The idea is to put your child to bed at the right time and in the right conditions.

Fill the emotional reservoir well of your child, but especially important: before the bedtime ritual which is not supposed to last 45 minutes. Indeed, the ritual should just be a transition to sleep.

Avoid phrases that can scare the style : “You sleep alone”, “I’m going”, “don’t be afraid, everything is fine”, indeed, say these sentences aloud and you will see that it is not necessarily reassuring. Prefer to say “you sleep in your room, while I am in the living room with dad, see you tomorrow morning, I love you”. We also avoid all the phrases about loneliness, fear etc.
