Presented by Peugeot in July 2023, the facelifted version of the Peugeot e-208 is now available to order. Furthermore, the Lion brand is taking the opportunity to reveal the prices of its electric city car.
For Peugeot, the year 2023 was marked by several makeovers of its flagship electric models. The Lion brand has notably launched a revamped version of its e-2008, its electric SUV. In our columns, we were able to test this new iteration at length, which without being a revolution, brought welcome improvements such as better autonomy.
In July 2023, Peugeot then confirmed that the e-208, its ultra-popular electric city car, would also benefit from a second lease of life. An essential step for the manufacturer, which obviously wants to continue to build on the success of the e-208. For good reason, the electric city car is a flagship model in its catalog. In 2022, it has also established itself as the best-selling electric car in Europe, all segments combined.
Peugeot finally reveals the prices and equipment of its new e-208
As Peugeot clarified in July 2023, this revamped version is equipped with a new 115 kW engine (156 horsepower), which allows it to finally exceed the milestone of 400 km of autonomy (compared to 362 km on the first model). Enough to catch up with its big sister, namely the e-308. This 2023 e-208 also benefits from additional equipment, such as the large 10″ touch screen (now standard on all finishes) and the Peugeot i-Connect on-board system.
The 2023 e-208 will also be offered in four distinct finishesto know Active, E-Style, Allure and GT. Now that orders are open, we finally know in detail the equipment offered on each of these versions and especially their price. Here they are in detail.
