In fact, in addition to the Back-to-School Allowance, it is possible to request several national and/or departmental scholarshipsthe amounts of which vary depending on their issuer. All you have to do is request them from the managers of the establishment where the child is registered and complete the form provided for this purpose. These scholarships concern primary school students whose school is located more than 3 km from their home. The latter must also be a boarder or half-boarder. For middle and high school students, another scholarship is provided for this purpose. It is national and its amount varies from 114€ (at the 1st level) at 315€ (at the 2nd level); and 495€ (at the 3rd level) for the middle school students ; from €474 to €1,008 for high school students. Just request it on the Schooling-Services portal if your child is registered in the public sector or to request the associated form if he or she is registered in the private sector under contract, or registered with the Cned.

Aid for cultural and sporting activities

There is a boarding school bonus for middle and high school students who are, on the one hand from €327 to €465 depending on the level (college student), and calculated on the basis of parents’ income, and up to €672 for a high school student. A significant sum considering the costs involved in registering for boarding school!
