A duo of German entrepreneurs had the idea of designing an electric trailer… intended for mechanical bicycles. The advantage is to keep your muscular cycle as is for your personal outings, while benefiting from welcome electrical assistance when transporting children or goods in said trailer.
If the segment of electric cargo bikes (longtail, two-wheeler and three-wheeler) has enjoyed a certain success and numerous media coverage since the post-Covid-19 era, other vehicles also capable of transporting families or goods exist: These are the famous bicycle trailers.
When the trailer itself becomes electric

Three levels of support
The trailer weighs 15 kg and can support up to 32 kg of load. 157 cm long, 45 cm wide and 42 cm high, it is based on an aluminum frame and a 16-inch front wheel, in which the 250 W motor is installed at the hub. A system allows the pedals and the trailer to communicate to manage assistance.
The user can even play with three levels of assistance. In addition, it comes as standard with a removable and waterproof 65 liter DryBag for transporting dry goods. All this, however, has a price: 1490 euros. Unfortunately, France is not one of the countries delivered according to our purchase simulation.
