Almost 6 years separate us from the release of the last Beats headphones. Yes, it was in October 2017 (already!) that the Apple-owned company delivered the latest version of its Bluetooth headphones. While the Beats Studio 3 was nice in some ways, it wasn’t flawless either, quite the contrary. That’s why, after several years without a new iteration, Apple and Beats are back with a brand new model: the Beats Studio Pro. What make the sound giants tremble?

This Wednesday, July 19 marked the formalization of the Beats Studio Pro. After making a first appearance at the US FCC last month, it is now a reality. If it sports curves relatively similar to those of the model marketed in 2017, particular care has obviously been given to noise suppression and the ergonomics of the headphones. The UltraPlush over-ear cushions have indeed been redesigned, and the Beats Studio Pro now includes a Transparency mode to help you stay more focused on your surroundings.

Beats Studio Pro: connectivity, autonomy, price and launch

Good news: the headset has a 3.5 millimeter jack as well as USB-C connectivity with lossless audio. Our colleagues from The Verge also claim that the headset happens to be the ideal materialization of what users are entitled to expect in terms of iOS / Android compatibility. The Beats Studio Pro promises up to 40 hours of battery life and features Fast Fuel charging, which gives you 4 hours of listening after just 10 minutes of charging.

The Beats Studio Pro is available for purchase from July 19 at a price of 399.95 euros. No less than 4 colors are available, namely black, navy blue, white and brown. If you’re the patient type, know that the AirPods Max 2 won’t arrive until the end of next year. If you’d rather invest in a more premium headset, that might give you plenty of time to put a few coins aside. Because yes, like the first generation model, the price of the future Apple headphones will probably be very high…
