Five months after the death of her son Nahel, Mounia Merzouk confirmed having received the money from the fund opened in support and is currently revealing what she plans to do with all this money.
The investigation continues as part of the death of Nahelthis teenager killed by a police officer on June 27 during a road check in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine). Although he was accused of intentional homicide, he was released last week and placed under judicial supervision. The news caused a lot of bitterness among those close to the 17-year-old teenager, and pushed 500 people to gather in the town where the tragedy occurred to pay tribute to him and express their discontent. Questioned on November 17, Mounia Merzouk confirmed that she had received the 490,000 euros in donations cumulative (BFM TV). 23,000 people participated! She also explained at the same time that this money would be used in part to different works, in memory of Nahel and to contribute to positive actions. At the same time, she insisted that she would continue to “beat” and that she “wouldn’t give up anything” for his son.
